Dr. Andrew Dainsberg, DVM
Here is a little
bit about myself:
I've been a
practicing veterinarian in Santa Barbara for the past ten years
or so. I have worked as a regular and as an emergency vet at
local SB veterinary hospitals, but these days I am concentrating
solely on my veterinary acupuncture practice... I feel very
fortunate to have a successful holistic house call practice in
this beautiful place!
I have a
Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science and a Doctorate degree in
Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota. I am a
member of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association. I
am a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist; endorsed by the
Society of Traditional Veterinary Medicine of Beijing. Study at
the Chi Institute of Chinese
Medicine under Dr. Huisheng
Xie, DVM, PhD has given me the highest quality and most
comprehensive acupuncture training available to veterinarians.
I use acupuncture,
herbs and other natural therapies to accomplish my mission. I
believe regular and alternative types of medicine can and do
compliment each other. I enjoy providing my patients with a safe
and effective alternative.
